Practitioners are seldom aware of such auxiliary documents.
Besides, the impacts of this harmonization in the application of the two frameworks are hard to quantify given that the key terms such as function have different meanings. This would also affect the already different metamodels.

Until the two frameworks and their documentations are harmonised these papers have just internal significance for TOGAF developers.

Adrian, there is a 3rd document which will compare the metamodels and relationships. Not yet published.

This is Phase 1, a simple comparaison.

Phase 2 should come with recommendation to really harmonize the 2 frameworks. This should have an impact on the next version of TOGAF.
